The ITI Welder Trade is a skill-based technical course designed for students interested in working with metal joining processes. Welding is an essential function in construction, fabrication, shipbuilding, automotive, and various manufacturing industries. This trade prepares candidates for hands-on careers in metalworking by training them in different welding techniques, safety protocols, and blueprint reading.

Medical Fitness: Should be physically fit and have good vision, especially for close-up and detailed work

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Safety in welding workshops and fire prevention
Cutting and joining metals using gas and electric methods
Inspection of welds and quality control
Use of welding machines and equipment

Selection Procedure:
Merit-based selection (usually based on 8th or 10th grade marks)
No entrance exam required in most institutions
Final Admission:
Attend document verification, counseling session, and pay the admission fee
